"Mom, [boy on the bus] asked me what the fox says. I told him they yip. He said no, they sing some ring a ding song. I said no they don't, that's bells, foxes yip. I don't know where he's getting his creature facts, but that was very wrong."

In completely unrelated news, I have pneumonia. And codeine. I don't like the pneumonia and am undecided on the codeine.

my thoughts exactly. first time I heard that sing, I said to zac, aren't they a bit like dogs? wouldn't they yip?

They definitely yip. It's the oddest sound. We had one in our neighborhood in VA Beach that liked to sing under the street lamp at 4am.

that's kinda cool! We had a red fox in our neighborhood last spring and I actually got to see it once. That was it though, I think it moved on.
