No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth...

...I'm just working at a gym now.  Plus we moved and are without internet at the moment, so I haven't had any chance to post, check email, or read anything.

Just resurfacing for a brief lunch break at the library and the observation that my iPod should never be listened to on shuffle. Odd things happen. I tried earlier today for my workout and had to give up after I got the following mix:

1. "A Little Less Conversation", Elvis (see, it starts off with what you want to give you a false sense of security)
2. Sutherland Pavarotti in La Fille du Regiment
3. A random bit of act 2 narration from the Glynbourne recording of The Merry Widow
4. Chapter 3 of Paladin of Souls
5. "Froggy Went a-Courtin'", Woody Guthrie

Not exactly a cardio-friendly mix. I am apparently too eclectic to shuffle with safety.
