Lj groupthink please!

I am restarting my sewing business down here. In Pittsburgh I sewed and did holiday set up and clean up (Christmas trees, ceramic villages, my trademark pumpkin patches, special occasion tablesettings, etc) but I dint think the decorating projects would be very doable now with the little critters.

So I need a name for my sewing business. I do custom costumes, cloth diaper repair, regular clothing repair and some alterations. Puns are, as always, quite welcome.

My best thought so far is Sew What.

Back to the drawing board

Okay. We all seem to like Sew What. Unfortunately, so do many other people who have businesses and stores with the same name. It doesn't seem to be anyone near me either here or in Pgh, but still. Boo. I was starting to like the line "Sew What? Whatever you need!"

Maybe something along the lines of Sew So Nice, only not so feeble sounding (thanks dreamweaver for the two so's idea)? Someone at the gym suggested Bitchin' Stitchin', but that's a little too faux edgy for me.

My aunt used to call her crafting line Sew Extraordinary by Anita, which is probably why I like the sew/so puns as much as I do.

Costume pictures

So (sew), having asked everyone to help me come up with a name for my cottage industry, I figured I had better share pictures as well.

I have Katrina's owl hat and wings completed, though I'm undecided whether to make feathery legs or not:



The wings are fleece with felt feathers, and the hat is fleece as well. The yoke velcroes in front and attached to the wrist with elastic.

Next we have Peter Pan, including some custom shoe covers that I just love, even though I made them myself.



I love the hat too.

Finally we have Tinkerbell the dog. The collar threads through the top of the costume, and the tutu sits at the waist. The tutu is green tulle and metallic green mesh on elastic, the base is fleece, and the wings are wire armature covered with the metallic mesh. It's to fit a beagle.
