New birds!

I just saw a pair of house finches at the birdfeeder. I am way too excited!!

So now we've seen robins, wrens, sparrows, goldfinches, house finches, cardinals, sapsuckers, some shiny black birds I don't recognize, and one very persistent wild turkey. I love this backyard!

No Eastern bluebirds though, which surprises me. Maybe I've just missed them, or there isn't a local pair at the moment. There always has been before.
