vid spam: Robert Goulet singing "The Highest Judge of All"

Here's an excerpt from the Goulet Carousel I am so excited about. This song was added to cover a scene change in the original production that took several minutes, and was cut once the back-stage machinery was sped up. It's often cut from productions, none of the revivals in the 90's included it, but I think it's a good addition. If nothing else, it shows off a good range vocally. I also think it's great character development, because no one is as self-important as Billy Bigelow!




(There's a link at the end to him singing "If Ever I Would Leave You" in full stage voice, rather than the amplified voice in the Carousel song, which is fabulous. This is why I can't stand most modern musical theater singers, there's no comparison.)
