There's a sleep schedule post in parenting101 which is innocuous enough, though the OP doesn't seem to grasp that her child might already have a sleep pattern, just not the one she prefers. But there is a beautiful comment from someone who starts off stating that she is a working mother with "tons on my plate so I am not able to bend to the whims of my children as much as others are". She then mentions that because she has more than one child "the baby simply can't gave things the way he wants all of the time".
I don't know why this made me laugh, but it did. The thinly-veiled resentment against at-home mothers, who all have one over-indulged child and nothing else "on their plates" perhaps.
My catered-to child is watching Lion King and going "that's not nice uncle, you hitting WAY too hard. You need a time out.". Go Katrina, save Mufasa by enforcing household discipline in a calm, loving way! The creatures of the savannah will thank you!
