Posting this for many reasons...

1. to celebrate a year of surprisingly non-rage-inducing Hugo Awards, from the lack of ire on the interwebs
2. because while I know half of my f list has seen these, I'm pretty sure the other half has not (my Bujold list buddies and mommy buddies don't overlap at all, I realized).
3. because they illustrate some interesting differences in the ways men and women are presented, even in urban fantasy, which has a huge female readership
4. because they make me laugh my ass off every single time I see them
