So, Glencora's still limping, I'm still coughing my lungs out, and Bruce's work situation is up in the air after the contractor contract was drastically cut. The same week the President is talking about how we have to increase mental health care for the military, and the psych nursing contract at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth is cut by 25%. So he has 16 hours a week this month, instead of 36, and I don't know if we get to keep out health insurance or not. This sucks.

Mothers' Day was okay. Bruce was working, so I had to take the kids to brunch with his family by myself, which was a gruelling 3 hours. But everyone seemed to have a good time and we all took naps when we got home.

Finshed my first six weeks working our since Robbie was born. In that time I lost 12 1/2 lbs., lost 1 3/4 inches off my waist, and 1 1/4 inches off my hips. And that's while nursing. So yay me! Yay fitbit! Yay all that.

My succss with quiche continues...three good ones in a row. Bruce is in hog heaven. I have another pot of chicken soup on the stove, which makes me happy. I like soup.

blah blah blah. I will go do laundry now.

Ugh, I hope things turn around for Bruce's job. What a nightmare.

YAY for your weight loss/working out, though! That's fantastic! And YAY for your quiche turning out. I have admittedly never tried to make one, but I have heard that they're one of those things that can go either way. I'm good with omelettes, which I know are a struggle for a lot of people.
